However, travelling to a race location and meeting like minded people and running and sharing some distances with them the thrill of running in the mountains and trails with other runners, sharing the pain and stories, running for hours alone on the race route knowing there will be runners ahead and behind, seeing the aid stations etc seemed like another life I had lived.Īs luck could have it, I got lucky to be part of Run For Hills Foundation and got the first hand experience of organising Garhwal Temple Run 2.0 Back2Back Ultra with my friends/partners in the remote mountains of Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand and also to run it. Luckily I discovered some beautiful trails in the place where I was staying in the mountains of Uttrakhand and did a lot of trail runs.
